Teu's new line of sexy Brazilian bikinis heats things up for summer

You may recognize Brazilian transplant and bikini-lover, Tininha Silva, from her first name, which graced her sunny yellow, mod Fremont bikini shop for the nine years it was open.

Since closing the shop last August , Silva has been hard at work on Teu (pronounced "tay-oh," which means "yours" in Portuguese), her own line of playful, teeny-weeny bikinis akin to the ones her shop was known for, inspired by her years of helping her customers find just the right suit.

"I went back to my experience at the shop and drew on the styles that people would always look for," Silva explains. “My suits are not too skimpy or revealing, but are sexy and interesting. They’ve got to be sexy" she says, with a laugh.

I'm not quite sure what Oakley is re-trying here, but perhaps that doesn't matter. Its geometric abstract print is charming with its summery aqua and yellow hues. It's not our only option though; you'll also find the style with multicolored horizontal stripes and a modern floral. Each one features that distinctive wide trim which emphasizes the bikini's classic triangle shape.

Oakley says this swim top offers athletic support, but it doesn't do it in the ways many bikinis do. There's no underwire under the bust, and no boning in the sides. That'll make wearing the Re-Tried top more comfortable, but it probably won't offer enough support for women with curves.
